  4. gMail is a Crosstalk for Windows script for use with PCBoard bulletin
  5. boards.  It allows for automatic logons, file processing and message
  6. processing via qMail or MarkMail.  It has both automatic and
  7. interactive mode.

  11. GMAIL.XWC -- The compiled Crosstalk for Windows script

  29. fixed a bug with offline operation that prevented the user from
  30. entering the name of an alternate BBS.

  32. fixed a number of small bugs with on line operation.

  34. Starting with this release the source code will be distributed.  The
  35. registration fee with be $15.00.

  37. If you have already registered gMail, no update fee is required.

  41. NetID usage:  You can now specify the mail door command in the NetID
  42.     variable of the Phonebook's Setup.Session screen instead of
  43.     specifying it on the command line.

  45.     If NETID is blank it is ignored.  If it is not blank, the
  46.     contents of NetID will be sent to the host as the command
  47.     to open the mail door.

  49. MailReplies:  If you specify Mail and Replies, gMail will now look 
  50.     a reply packet FIRST;  and if it exists send it before
  51.     processing new messages.  The consequence of this is that
  52.     if you send replies immediately after downloading a packet,
  53.     and you have the door configured to download your own 
  54.     messages, it may well be that gMail will send your replies
  55.     and then download the new messages consisting only of those
  56.     replies.

  58.     This makes it more important that you specify Replies Only
  59.     if you are reconnecting to your board *before* the next
  60.     network mail transfer.

  62. ESC key cancels -- this is new and experimental, and not always
  63.     immediate, but there are now two places where you should
  64.     be able to cancel gMail entirely:  1) during the logon 
  65.     sequence (after name and password are sent, but before
  66.     door command is sent), and 2) during a mail scan.

  68. Reader command line - The default Reader is WINQWK.EXE.  Version
  69.     1.2 of WINQWK now accepts a command line.  (I'm not sure if
  70.     DOS Readers do the same).  In any case, by default gMail
  71.     will concatenate the string supplied as the Reader (/R:)
  72.     with the current QWK file...
